At SIERRALINE Cargo Services, we are committed to providing reliable and efficient logistics, transportation, and cargo services. Our goal is to foster long-term relationships with our clients, suppliers, and business partners through fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial trade practices. This Trade Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and expectations for conducting business with us.

ACCEPTABLE GOODS FOR TRANSPORTATION

SIERRALINE Cargo Services specializes in the transportation and delivery of various types of cargo. We offer both domestic and international shipping services. The types of goods we accept for transport include, but are not limited to:General Cargo: Electronics, machinery, consumer goods, and industrial products.
Perishable Goods: Food, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive items (subject to special handling conditions).
Hazardous Materials: Chemicals, gases, and other regulated goods (subject to applicable laws and special arrangements.
High-Value Cargo: Precious metals, jewelry, antiques, and other high-value items (subject to additional security and insurance requirements)

Delivery Times and Transit

Shipper’s Responsibilities: The shipper must provide accurate and complete documentation for each shipment. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Bill of Lading (B/L): A receipt for the cargo, outlining its description, quantity, and terms of transport.
• Customs Documentation: Any required customs declarations, import/export permits, or certificates.
• Insurance Certificates: If applicable, proof of insurance for the cargo being transported.
• Dangerous Goods Declaration: For hazardous materials, specific documents are required to comply with regulatory standards.
Note: SIERRALINE Cargo Services reserves the right to refuse shipment if documentation is incomplete or inaccurate.

TRADE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Pricing: All charges and rates are agreed upon prior to shipment and are based on the type of cargo, destination, mode of transport (land, sea, air), and any special requirements (e.g., insurance, handling).
Payment Terms: Payment for services rendered must be made in accordance with the agreed payment terms outlined in the contract or shipment agreement. Payment methods include bank transfers, credit cards, and other mutually agreed methods.
Currency: All payments are to be made in the agreed currency, unless otherwise stated in the contract.

CUSTOMER AND PARTNER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their cargo is appropriately packaged to withstand the rigors of transport. SIERRALINE Cargo Services may provide packaging solutions upon request, but the customer is ultimately responsible for the safety and integrity of the goods during transit.
• Labeling: Accurate and clear labeling of all cargo is essential for proper handling and customs processing. Customers must ensure that labels include correct descriptions, weight, dimensions, and destination.

Documentation Requirements

Customs and Regulatory Compliance

Customs Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipments comply with local and international customs regulations. SIERRALINE Cargo Services will assist in the customs process where necessary, but the final responsibility for compliance lies with the customer.
• Regulatory Compliance: The customer must ensure that any restricted or prohibited goods are not included in the shipment. SIERRALINE Cargo Services is not liable for delays or penalties due to non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.

CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

Notice of Cancellation: If the customer wishes to cancel a shipment or contract, they must provide written notice at least [Insert Number of Days] days before the scheduled shipment date. Cancellation fees may apply.
